The following applications can be processed through the Automated Intake System (AIS) or through the Illinois Healthcare and Family Services Communications System (IPACS):

  • TANF and Family Health Plans approvals/denials;
  • GA-FCA and GA-TA (including P3) approvals/denials;
  • AABD Medical approvals/denials;3
  • AABD Cash denials;
  • SNAP approvals/denials; and
  • RRA Cash and RRA Medical denials.

NOTE: See WAG 17-01-04-a for specific criteria that must be met for notice to be mailed centrally.

The following applications can only be processed through IPACS:

  • AABD Cash approvals; and
  • RRA Cash and RRA Medical approvals.
