PM 07-04-01-a: Whose Assets to Use

WAG 07-04-01-a

When determining asset eligibility, include the assets of all members of a noncategorically eligible SNAP unit(see PM 05-07-00, PM 05-07-02) including the assets of any ineligible SNAP unit member. Ineligible SNAP unit members are:

• Persons who are sanctioned for:
  • an intentional program violation or;
  • failure to comply with work provision or SNAP E & T; and
• Persons who:
  • do not meet Social Security Number policy (see PM 03-11-00), or
  • are ineligible noncitizens (see PM 03-01-06), or
  • have not had their citizen/INS status verified (see PM 03-01-04).

Do not use the assets of any non-unit member living with the SNAP unit (see PM 04-05-06).
