  1. (FCRC) Review the case record to determine if the person has been convicted of misrepresenting an address, in order to receive assistance in 2 or more states.
  2. (FCRC) For persons convicted of misrepresenting an address to receive assistance in 2 or more states, a client interview is not required. Issue a Form 157 and stop cash benefits. Place an entry in the case record to document that the client is ineligible for a 10-year period.

    For FS, determine if the person was determined by an administrative disqualification hearing or court conviction because they made fraudulent statements with respect to identity or residency. If ineligible, cancel FS benefits. 

    1. For TANF Cash cases, enter a TA 31 and TAR 94 on the Form 552. Enter a 3 in Box 78. Enter Code 00 in Item 39 of the Form 552 to centrally mail the Form 157.
    2. For AABD Cash and TANF Cash cases, enter a TA 81/82 and TAR 38 to swap a case to medical only.
    3. For adult-only GA (Category 07) cases, enter a TA 22 and TAR 38 to cancel assistance if this is the only eligible person in the assistance unit. For GA-FCA (Category 07) cases, enter a TA 34 and TAR 25 on Form 552 to remove a person from the GA cash unit that has been convicted of misrepresenting an address to receive assistance in 2 or more states. Enter Code 00 in Item 39.
    4. To remove a person from the FS unit when they were convicted of misrepresenting an address, enter a TA 34 and TAR 25. Enter Code 00 in Item 39 of the Form 552 to centrally mail the Form 157.
    5. For FS only (Category 08) cases, enter a TA 22 and TAR 38 to cancel food stamps.
