Before determining initial eligibility for General Assistance (GA), evaluate the client's potential eligibility for AABD Cash or TANF Cash. Do not authorize GA until the client is found ineligible for AABD cash or TANF cash benefits.
If the client is found ineligible for AABD cash or TANF cash benefits, document the reason in the case record and at each REDE.
