After the sanction period ends, the client must request a resumption of benefits. Do not resume a case unless the client requests resumption before central cancellation.

  1. (Client) Requests resumption during the last month of the sanction period, or anytime before the case is centrally canceled.
  2. (FCRC) Complete Redetermination of Eligibility (Form 2027) to review eligibility.
  3. (FCRC) Resume the case by coding and submitting the current Form 552 using Item 33 TAR 07 (see WAG 03-14-03-e). Authorize benefits from the day after the date the sanction ends, or the date of request, whichever is later.

If the client requests resumption after central cancellation, they must reapply for GA.
