PM 03-14-00: Work Registration (GA)

WAG 03-14-00.

Nonexempt persons living in the City of Chicago who receive Transitional Assistance (GA-TA) and SNAP benefits must cooperate with the SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E & T) Program. SNAP E & T is a self-support program to help clients find and accept work. The program also helps clients with work related expenses for the first 30 days of a job.

For Family and Children Assistance cases, the SNAP E & T program uses TANF policy in PM 03-13-00 and PM 21-01-00.
