Include a pregnant woman eligible for Moms and Babies in the same case with her spouse or children age 18 or younger if the are spouse or children eligible for Assist.

Example: A pregnant woman with one child under age 19 applies for medical on 07/02/02. Medical backdating is not requested. The expected delivery date is 12/02. Countable income is less than the Moms and Babies income standard for 3.

The pregnant woman is eligible for Moms and Babies beginning 07/01/02. After the 60-day postpartum period, compare income to the 3-person FamilyCare Assist income standard to decide ongoing eligibility.
