A case in enrolled status is similar to an unmet spenddown case. The case does not receive benefits, but appears as active on the Client Database. When a case is put in enrolled status, no notice of decision is sent.
- If the family pays the premiums within 30 days, the system changes the case from enrolled to active for the current processing month on the day the premiums are paid with TA 31/TAR 71. Form 360KC is centrally generated at that time. The 12-month
eligibility period stays the same.
- If the family does not pay the premiums within 30 days, the system changes the case from enrolled to canceled with TA 22/ TAR 06. Form 360KC is centrally generated at that time. An enrolled case can be identified by looking at the CASE STAT in ACID
which will show ENROLLED PREMIUM (OR SHARE) CASE. A message appears in Item 93 on Form 552 generated as a result of the action enrolling the case. The message is ENROLLED PREMIUM (OR SHARE) CASE.
