The family may choose to report and verify a decrease in income prior to the annual renewal. They may also report when the amount of child support they pay increases because this decreases their countable income. Staff only recalculate eligibility when the family makes a request for a recalculation and provides proof of the decreased income or increased support paid. When a decrease in monthly income is verified, the case is changed to the correct Family Health Plans program.
If a person receiving All Kids/FamilyCare Premium becomes eligible for All Kids/FamilyCare Share, change the case to Share effective the calendar month in which the change is reported.
If a worker becomes aware that a person receiving All Kids/FamilyCare Share or Premium is now eligible for Assist or Moms & Babies and the family requests a review, change the case to Assist or Moms & Babies for the month the income decreased for Assist, or the month the pregnancy began for Moms & Babies.
If a worker becomes aware that a person receiving All Kids/FamilyCare Rebate is now eligible for Assist or Moms & Babies and the family requests a review, change the case to Assist or Moms & Babies for the month that the Rebate case can be terminated.
If the family does not request a review, leave the case as an All Kids/FamilyCare Share, Premium or Rebate case until the next reapplication or renewal.
