An adult-only case can be authorized for a pregnant woman and her spouse if income does not exceed the income standard. Adult-only Moms and Babies can be authorized for a pregnant woman (not her spouse) if income is above the Family Assist Standard but below the Moms and Babies standard. See WAG 06-09-00 for determining Moms and Babies eligibility.

Complete Form 552 Item 28 and Item 60 for the pregnant woman (and her spouse) as follows. For complete Form 552 directions on approving a FamilyCare Assist case, see WAG 25-08-01-b.

Item 28

- Enter the letter G if the pregnant woman is included in the case.

If the pregnant woman is excluded from the case, enter the letter S for the eligible husband.

Item 60

- For the pregnant woman, enter EDD and a 4-digit date.

Example: If the expected date of delivery is October 24, 2002, enter 10/02. This is the expected date of delivery for the expectant mother if you entered a G in Item 28.

NOTE: When the letter S is entered in Item 28, do not enter an EDD as the pregnant woman is excluded from the case. An entry is needed in Item 80 for the spouse.

Item 80 - When the pregnant woman is excluded from the case, enter the woman's expected date of delivery using code 680 PWS with the 4-digit date (month and year) under PERSONS. Item 28 must be coded S.
