Prior Approval Office

  1. Completes and distributes Prior Approval Decision Summary, or equivalent, when notified of an appeal.
  2. Sends copy of the decision summary to the client, the HFS Fair Hearings Section, and the Family Community Resource Center.
  3. Presents evidence, decision summary, and any other relevant information, at the pre-hearing meeting and the appeal hearing.
  4. Allows the appellant to provide additional information pertaining to the denial decision.
