The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal civil rights law for people with disabilities. It ensures equal opportunity and access in employment, public facilities, transportation, communication and other aspects of life.

    The session discusses an update on the litigation, technical assistance and enforcement efforts over the past year, including highlights of accomplishments over the past 20 years.

IICIL will have an informational booth, Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation will distribute ABC's sign language and Braille cards. Modern Woodman will do ADA Trivia questions.
