Intended Audience Course coordinators and training staff responsible for basic QIDP training for new and existing QIDPs.
  • DHS-approved agency licensed to provide CILA, DT or Child Group Home services.
  • Actively working with the Pre-Admission and Screening Agency to identify potential consumers.

  • Attendance does NOT count toward the 40-hours training requirement for new QIDPs or automatically qualify you to be a QIDP Instructor.

Continuing Education

2 day (12-hour course)

Twelve (12) hours of Continuing Education Credits are offered for all professional licenses for which the Division of Developmental Disabilities is certified by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to sponsor Continuing Education hours.

QIDPs may also apply this training toward the 12 hours annual continuing education credits requirement.
