Intended Audience Course coordinators and training staff responsible for basic QIDP training for new and existing QIDPs.  Please see details below about preparing for class, dates, time, how to register and cancel, materials needed, continuing education credits (CEs) and Certificate of Attendance.

  • 10/19/16 - 1 pm to 4 pm and 10/20/16 - 9 am - 4 pm, Mt. Vernon
    • Location and Parking:  Municipal Building West, Large Meeting Room, 200 Potomac Boulevard, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864. Parking in lot around building or additional parking at the Holiday Inn.
  • 12/13/16 - 1 pm to 4 pm and 12/14/16 - 9 am - 4 pm, Springfield
    • Location and Parking:  DD Iles Park Place, Building 400, 1st Floor Video Conference Room, 600 East Ash, Springfield, Illinois 62703.  Parking:  We encourage you to carpool.  There is limited visitor's parking around Building 400 and Building 500.  Due to building security, DD staff will need to let you in, or call 217-524-7065 or 217-782-3075 for entry.

Objectives Attendance does NOT count toward the 40-hours training requirement for new QIDPs or automatically qualify you to be a QIDP Instructor.Participants will be taught:
  • QIDP orientation training program components
  • agency specific information to incorporate into the training
  • program requirements for QIDP orientation training program
  • training requirements for QIDPs
Continuing Education
Credits (CEs)

New 9 hours continuing education hours instead of 12 The course is a 9 hour course. Nine (9) hours of Continuing Education Credits are being offered for all professional licenses.

QIDPs may also apply this training toward the 12 hours annual continuing education credits requirement.

  • When you complete required Registration Form for a training event, you will be entered into the IDHS OneNet Learning Module system.
  • You will receive a registration confirmation at least two days in advance of the class to the email address listed on the online IDHS OneNet Learning Module Training Registration Form.

To cancel your registration, please email the Bureau of Quality Management at DHS.BQM@illinois.gov or call (217) 782-9438.

  • The Bureau of Quality Management will notify you by email listed on the online DDD OneNet Learning Module Training Event Registration Form at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Certificate of
Attendance and
Training Transcript
  • Upon completion of the QIDP Course Coordinator training event the IDHS Presenter will provide registrants with a Certificate of Attendance to maintain as documentation of CEs for the training record files. 
  • DDD is no longer providing transcripts.
