School Health Technical Assistance and Training
The program provides information and resources, as well as consultation and technical assistance to:
- parents
- schools
- health departments
- school nurses
- child advocates
- community agencies
School Health Program Staff provide technical assistance through:
- publications such as newsletters or manuals
- visits to schools, health departments or community agencies
- statewide and regional training
Continuing education programs, which include reference manuals and other training materials for school health and social service providers, are conducted for those who want to enhance their skills in delivering care to students.
