The Office of the Budget forecasts costs and revenues, and develops budget management strategies that help to maximize the impact of state appropriations.

The Office of the Budget consists of three bureaus:

  • Bureau of Operations -The Bureau of Operations oversees operational expenditures, current and upcoming fiscal years, for Developmental and Behavioral Health, Administration, MIS, Community Health, Field Operations and Transitional Services.
  • Bureau of Transitional Services - The Bureau of Transitional Services oversees the budget and spending plans for TANF & Income Assistance programs, Child Care, Social Services and Employment and Training.
  • Bureau of Community Programs - The Bureau of Community Programs maintains the spending plans within Community Health and Prevention, Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Rehabilitation Services and Developmental Disabilities.
